Follow my journey on my blog! I post updates involving amputation, athletics, health and fitness, nutrition as well as my every day life. Get some tips on how you should be performing in the gym, how to improve your diet or what it's like in the day-to-day of an amputee. Take a behind the scenes look at competitions and my training or just read my viewpoints on relevant topics.

Introducing my new sponsor - dryrobe

I have the very exciting news to tell you about my new sponsor dryrobe. They produce the world's most versatile changing robes. This means that after Tough Mudder, I will be able to just wash all of the mud off and get into my dryrobe so that I can stay dry and warm.

As an amputee, temperature control is often an issue as you don't have all of your limbs to both gain and expel heat from so my dryrobe will offer me the opportunity to stay healthy and recover quicker after my race. If you have ever tried to get changed on one foot, you'll appreciate that it is quite a difficult thing to do. With my dryrobe, I will now be able to lie on the floor and change as it is large enough for me to get changed underneath without having to expose myself to the other mudders.

I'm really excited to start using it and discovering what else I can do with it! I've never known anybody to not get the most out of their dryrobe and in a few days, when it arrives, I won't be the only person without one!
